Originally conceived by the Lions Club International Foundation, World Sight Day is now coordinated by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB). This year’s call to action was "Vision First!"
We also held a webinar on World Sight Day. Seva partners and team members from all over the globe came online on a conference call to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and connect with colleagues worldwide.
The World Health Organization (WHO) launched the World Report on Vision, a crucial framework for eye health delivery, on the eve of World Sight Day.
When is the last time you or your loved ones had an eye exam? Adults and school-aged children should have comprehensive eye exams at least every two years. Seniors should have them annually.
Join us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram! While you’re there, help spread awareness of the need for worldwide eyecare by sharing our posts and using the hashtags #VisionFirst and #SightforAll.
