Who is Seva?
Seva is a global nonprofit eye care organization that transforms lives by restoring sight and preventing blindness.
Our programs build self-sustaining eye clinics that provide critical eye care to underserved communities, especially women, children, and indigenous communities.
Over a billion people live with unaddressed vision impairments and hundreds of millions more need ongoing eye care. Thankfully, 90% of all vision impairment can be prevented or cured with your help. Seva’s programs have reduced the cost of cataract surgery to just $50 and have been instrumental in making eye care available to the global poor.
Restoring sight has been shown to be one of the most effective ways to relieve suffering and reduce poverty. Seva has provided surgeries, eyeglasses, medicine, and other eye care services to 64 million people in more than 20 countries. Learn more about Seva here.
