Seva Foundation supports the Angkor Hospital for Children with school screenings, equipment, medical supplies, and training.
Seva Foundation works in many countries like in Cambodia, Tanzania, Tibet, Nepal, and Bangladesh. People are not aware of eye care. They are scared of treatment, sometimes afraid of surgery. They have no money to go to the eye unit for treatment.
The most common problem in Cambodia, one is cataract, and two is corneal opacity, and glaucoma, and refractive error.
Per 100 students, we select one teacher for training. The process of training takes one day. After it's finished they go to their school to start screening all the students in their class. And then they inform Seva and Angkor's eye unit team about how many children need more care.
