Please welcome our newest member of staff, Dr. Leslie Louie.
Leslie comes to Seva with strong academic and professional credentials having earned her Ph.D in Epidemiology and MPH in Biomedical Sciences at U.C. Berkeley.
Leslie joined Seva as the new Deputy Executive Director in July. Formerly Vice Chair of Seva’s Board and a Board member for over 4 years, Leslie brings her background in epidemiology, research, grant management, fundraising, and project management to the team.
She has worked and lived in Kenya, Uganda and Zimbabwe. Leslie is excited to work with Seva staff on development, communications and implementation of our new strategic plan.
Leslie has three daughters, enjoys cooking and outdoor activities, and is active in her home community of Oakland. We are delighted to have Leslie join our growing team here at Seva.
